Hello,
This is my first time on this sight and I need some assistance. I painted my bottom bedroom walls a cranberry color and I don't like it. I was thinking of stenciling over it but I wanted to be more creative than just a normal stencil. Can anyone think of other items that I can use to make a stencil to cover the whole wall and just have some of the cranberry color show through? I just don't want to go through all the hassles of repainting the bottom wall. Please help! Thanks

Can you make stripes from the cranberry? For example, take some blue painter's tape and make some vertical lines and then paint another color and remove the tape for the striped look. Is there another color you could incorporate?

I used a sprayed lace effect on a folding screen that I read about in a magazine. Just get an inexpensive piece of lace (one that has a pretty pattern in the open areas), attach firmly to the wall with painters tape (you don't want the spray paint to leak around the edges) and spray with a contrasting color. I don't know the rest of your color scheme, but I think white or ivory would be good.
