when replacing a dulepane window after mesuring daylight, what do you add fore overall size??? thanks guys.

The additional measurement is usually 1/2 to 5/8 on each edge.
The above will work for 90 percent of replacements however some are smaller....Take one edge molding off the unit..and you'll be able to take an accurate measurement....use a caliper to measure the thickness of the insulated unit or measure on the edge while the molding is off...

If it is possible to remove the sash, take the unit in to where your having the insulated glass made they should take the sash apart to get a proper measurement and put the old glass back for you and call you when the glass is ready. If they don't take it apart it's on them if they take the wrong measurement.
