Plumbing and Piping - Valve Leak

The bleed on the kitchen undersink valve appears to been slowly dripping for at most a few days. We've tightened the bleed and elimnated the problem. The valve is on an outside wall so the majority of the water simply escaped down thru the insulation, eventually will need to be replaced, and out thru the soffit of the overhang. The water of course has the waffle board floor wet as well as the subfloor. It does appear very limited. Have had a fan blowing on it for a few days. The question is, will that be sufficient to dry the wood or will we see the cabinets eventual start to shift? Nothing as of yet. Is there any type of dessicant avavilbe to help absorb the residual moisture?

"Damp Rid" is a pretty common product for that purpose... As for the fan, it is not a bad idea until the visible water dries pretty good... The worst of what will happen will be some mold and mildew if you don't get it dried it out pretty quick... The most important thing is that you have the leak stopped...
