Hello, Is it possible to install tiles...of any kind, outdoors?

This area would be uncovered, open to the elements, winter, frost etc...

Is there a tile that would stand up to these extremes?

Tiles used outdoors must be frostproof. These tiles are designed to withstand freeze/thaw conditions.

Probably best to post this in the tile forum. A lot will depend on the type of tile you are thinking about using, and just how extreme your weather conditions are. Be sure to tell them where you are. Outdoor tile in L.A. is one thing -- trying to install it in Alaska (or a similar climate) would be a totally different answer.
