Looking for an East-Coast manufacturer of pre-fab garages or supplier of garage kits/plans. House was built in 1800's, so there isn't a garage, but I need to add one, perhaps with a workshop attached, that would blend with the house architecture.

wcorbin,

From what I have seen, pre-fab garages are very hide to find. What was once consideded a good deal is now being sold within Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc. These are garages, set up in a material list to purchase. They are not pre-cut lengths of lumber but standard lumber loads for specific garages of which most designs are very standard.

With what you desire, especially with such an older home, you may want to hire a designer or architect to assist in designing what you need. I'm quite sure that you will not find any existing plans for what you want but to acheive the look, this would be the best alternative.

Hope this helps!

check in bookstores in the magazine section, I did a foundation for a guy awhile back, He got his plans from one of the classified sections in the back of the magazine. The plans were accepted by the town building department, or try the internet type "Carraige House" and Im sure you will find something suitable.
