I am curious to know how I must drill the hole for the ledger bolts into my brick exterior wall. My deck will be 2 ft tall so I will not be able to drill into the chain wall. I have been told that I must insert "concrete Molly's"(I forget the true name) in the brick and then screw the bolts into them. Must I worry about going straight through the brick. I was also told to put them staggered every 12". please verify if this is correct and what to do if I am wrong. Please reply to smarse@apcepc.com

Yes, you can do it that way, but brick could crack. You would need a hammer drill to drill the holes, then insert expansion bolts.
However, If I were building your deck, I would not attach it to your house. I would use pier blocks, 4x4's and sandwich 2x8's, and put them up against your house. With brick, you never know what can happen. They are not a strong material. Good Luck
