Anyone familiar with wood tiles that have a ceramic look? Manufactured by Madera, the tiles are made from Lignasil (a patented wood bio-composite material) Each tile has a factory applied ultra-hard stain-resistant coating. Website: www.maderatile.com
I'm very interested in this product, but they don't have a retailer in my state. I'm curious about the durability and price. Would it be possible to make my own ceramic look wood tiles?

Sounds like a laminate to me.
Several laminate manufacturers have ceramic look-a-likes
