the front porch on my house seems to be sinking on the front half that is not attached to the house.the rear of the porch attached to the house is fine. i expect i will have to raise the front half of the porch back up but am unsure of what to do for piers since it seems the builder did not used proper support.any ideas? thanks!

 I would jack up the front until level and place temporary braces to kepp from dropping. Dig out current pier/footing and make it solid concrete to ground level. Should be about 10" - 12" across.

You'll need to cut your posts at the right length too. Make sure to use Simpson or USP post bases when you re-attach the posts.
