I have a Honeywell forced air furnace with cooling system, recently it does not work properly. It won't automatic start
the flame unless I set it to fan then switch to auto. In addition
to it, after it reaches the desired temperature, it will on /off
normally for a few times, but will eventually stop turning on at
one point , then it will not be able to turn it on on itself. I
can hear a click, but no flame followes that. Don't know what
cause it. It is not like completely not be able to automatic on. I would appreciate if you can give me some answer.
Thanks.

Kai

It sounds like you've been resetting the module in the furnace. Take off the cover on the furnace and observe what happens when the thermostat calls for heat. Is the ignition device a pilot flame that is lit by a spark or do you have a glow bar? Search thru the posts here for the past 3-4 weeks, we have covered this a lot. Most likely you have a flame sensing circuit problem which usually turns out to be grounding/dirty flame rod. If your furnace has a glow bar igniter, you might have a bad igniter.
