I purchased a multi-level home built in 1950. There was a M.BR. , and Bath addition added 10 years ago. Neither has a vent, or for that matter the duct work going to them. The closest duct/vent on the floor in a bedroom on the next level approximateley 5' higher than my floor, but 3' lower than my ceiling. I would like to remove the floor vent, in that bedroom continue up the wall with the duct work thru the ceiling into the attic, and put vents in both rooms in the ceiling. Also I have a question about the flexible ducts, and are their blowers to increase air flow if I do this? My house is approximately 1800Sqft. My furnace and a/c are 150,000 btu's, will it work?
