i would like to use glass mirror tiles above and on the sides of my fireplace. i don't think the the double stick tape will work. can i use tough as neils for the backing?

Mirror adhesive is available at a local glass and mirror shop. Mirror adhesive is a synthetic rubber base adhesive formulated to provide a strong bond between glass mirrors and a variety of substrates. Check to see if the adhesive is compatible with the type of substrate on which you wish to install the mirrors.
