I have a samsung tv 24 inch screen I believe. Model #tc2055st, Maufactured in dec of 89. On the front it says MT series stereo dbx. My problem is the screen is terrbily dark, If you flip down the door to adjust the color and what not it gets worse, anytime you even wiggle any buttons, tone, bright , color, anything the screen really messes up, It so bad that if its a scene during the movie that is outside at night or what not you cant see anything, What could be the problem, especially since all the buttons make it act up? Is this something that a DIY'er can do?, is it even worth the $$$ to fix? thanks in advance.

What is the sense of having a moderator if they never show up!

Don't know where the Mods are.
But it sounds like you've got a bunch of dirty contacts on all your control adjustments. It may be time to have it serviced, or maybe time for a new TV.
