I am installing extra telephone lines in my house how do I connect to the telephone junction box?

hello video rock,
all u need for a phone to operate is 2 wires. the standard is red/green line 1 yellow/black line 2. in the phonecompaneys j box u will find a terminal strip simply conect your wire color for color in the box and run to new location and connect the jack color for color. in order for line 2 to operate u would need a 2 line phone the way around this is simply reverise the colors for the jacks u want on line 2 yellow phoneline to red jack, black phoneline to green jack, red phone line to yellow jack, green phoneline to black jack. if u only have 1 phone line no problem still hook up the other 2 or wrap them around the cabel, till needed.
