Decorating and Design - decorating bedroom

I am undecided in either color paint our walls masterbedrrom or wallpaper it?
Any website or other ideas to make my decision easier?
the masterbath next to it has a door for separation, it is with dark multi green color tile floor, very tiny black and white dots painting walls with a black border with roses. It is a separate room but wonder if I should take this into consideration?

The master bedroom is very big, has a french door (window) going onto a small balcony.

My best advice in these situations is to save money: try to visualize all in 3D before.

You can try hundred of combinations, textures, colors, furniture, etc.

As the Master bath is part of the Master bedroom, you need to consider it.

Some weeks ago a made a project and instead of decide about combinations we decide about a style, and we defined all the pieces based in that style.

Not necessarily. You can buy a software if you want, some of them are inexpensive, but you'll need some time to learn how to use them.
With just a photograph, a professional can build a room in 3D and make all the combinations you need (colors, textures, etc), and you can see, for example a fly view of the bathroom + the bedroom.
Fees are usually low.

Thank you Patricia, but I don't think I can afford services of a designer or decorator. I am trying to find ideas on my own, it takes time but that is all I can afford.

Just to clarify, as this site is DIY, I'd never suggest to hire a designer or decorator.

Your question was if to get 3D images you need to buy a software. I answered that if you don't want to buy the software, you can use a 3D specialist to visualize your ideas.

Have you thought about doing both? Perhaps one wall could be papered while the others are paint? I think you should take into account the appearance (or change in apperance) of the MSTRB. You might also want to think about how long you intend to live in the home. If it is only for a few more years, paint only. It sounds like you have nice natural light. You might try going through magazines an ripping out any and all things that catch your eye. You'd be surprised the common thread that usually appears after you get a file of these pictures going. Another starting point is a piece of fabric, art or something that gives you inspriration. From this beginninng, your mind cn lick in to a concept for your room.Good Luck.

Check your paint stores for free software to help choosing colors. Home Depot had a free (very basic) cd for helping decide paint colors for both exterior and interior and they ran out really quick. A coworker told me that Sherwin Williams has a similar basic program cd that they sell for $4.99 (haven't verified this yet). So go to paint stores, look at chips and then ask if they have a cd you can take home to help you decide! You won't find out for sure until you ask, and you never know what you can get it you don't ask!!
And NO, I can not burn a copy of my HD program cause it has the copyright thing on it!!:)
