If you are upgrading from a 60 amp service, why only go to a 100 amp service?? For a few dollars more in material and absolutely no more labor, I would go to either a 150 amp or a 200 amp. As far as grounding, the contractor you hire to upgrade the service will take care of it for you. This is NOT a DIY project, unless you happen to be a licensed eletrician (in which case, you wouldn't be asking the question you did)

hello mickeydo,
i must agree with lefty, i am an electrician and i have seen many atempted doy service chainges. if a servise chainge is not done properly then what u can end up with is a verry unsafe system, and end up costing u more then what it would have cost to have it done by an electrician in the first place. take my advice and seek an electrician.
