I have 3 12volt halogen lights working on a regular on/off switch. I want to install a dimmer switch that doesn't create a buzz in the transfromer. I have tried 3 different switchs including one labeled low voltage. Is there a special halogen dimmer that doesn't buzz? Home Depot doesn't have a clue.

hello,
i have never installed a dimmer in 1 of these set ups. i would try a lighting specility store, and c what they have to offer. another source would be your local electrical supply house.
