I have two individual circuits in my kitchen, one a 15 amp feeding my garbage disposal and the other a 15 amp circuit feeding lites and receptacles. I need a switch for the garbage disposal and a switch for part of the lighting circuit. Can both switches be mounted in the same box without any physical barrier between the cables of the individual circuits ?

hello Richard Szanti,
yes u may install both switches in the same box with no barrer between them, since neather r low voltage. the code states that a barrer must be installed between switches of high voltage and low voltage
