I am an inexperienced carpentar want to be. One of my new year's resolutions is to put fear aside and tackle a project by myself with now help from anyone else. I want to build a Work bench and some free standing storage shelfs with doors to hide all the un-wanted things in a Garge. Where should I start and were would I find building plans available for such a project???

Some of the DIY stores (Lowes etc..) have ready made work benches, tho I've never seen one with doors. You may be able to buy one & put doors on it.
Some of the online wood worker sites (Rocklers) have plans. I don't know their prices or how complcated they are
