THE THERMOSTAT IS SET AS NORMAL BUT WHEN THE HEAT WAS TO COM ON THE FAN STARTED UP BUT NO FLAMES CAME OUT SO THE FAN EVENTUALLY SHUTS OFF AND WON'T COME BACK ON BECAUSE OF NO FLAMES , I HAVE A YORK MULTIPOSITION GAS-FIRED FURNACE INDUCED DRAFT MODEL P2MP,PLEASE WE ARE FREEZING AND CAN'T GET HELP THIS TIME OF NIGHT

ok couple questions- which fan came on the combustion air fan or the circulating fan? lookinsdie the furnace, how do the burners lite? Standing Pilot, Spark Igniter or Glow Coil?

IT THE COMBUSTION AIR FAN, AND I HAVE A GLOW COIL WHEN I LOOKED AT IT IT WAS CRAKED IN 2 PLACES,THANKS U WERE VERY HELPFUL IN WHAT I NEEDED TO LOOK FOR,SO I FORCED THE PLUG TO GLOW FOR NOW AND MAGIC I GOT HEAT ,AT LEAST FOR NOW SO I CAN RUN OUT IN THE MORNING AND BUY A NEW ONE. THANKS AGAIN I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO LOOK AT

I'm glad your heat is back on for now. Be sure to get an exact replacement [exact function/shape]. These systems come in 2 flavors. One has the flame rod intregal to the glow coil and is called local sense, the other uses a remote flame sensing rod.

Most will have a Norton number on it.
