We have an add-on room on the back of our house. We'd like to put a deck that is equal height from the ground and equal width of the room. Is there somewhere online I can go to get ideas, material lists, ect to do this?

Not sure about "on-line", but check with your local lumber yards. Most have CAD software that will do it for you, and the service is free (at least, I'VE never been charged for it!)

Type of decking you choose is a subject for endless debate. Depending on where you are, redwood may be an option, there is pressure treated, IPE, and the composites (Trex, WeatherBest, Nexwood, and at least 22 others).

Feel free to reply to this post and pick our brains, or at least get our opinions.
