I am remodeling a bathroom and I need to make a straight cut
down a wall of tile.
The tile has a bed of mortar behind it about 1-1.5" thick
Can I use a circular saw w/a diamond dry cut blade to cut
through it?
If so what kind of blade will work for the job?????

Yes a dry cutting diamond blade will work. There will be tons of dust and sparks. Wear dust mask,eye protection and have the fire dept standing by or at least the garden hose. Don't forget long pants long shirt sleaves and gloves.
