I have a GE gas range model JGBP26GEJ, about 12 years old.
O Christmas Eve the oven burner decided to stop working. It will not light. The stove top burners all work. The Broiler burner works. The igniter on the oven burner works but the gas will not run to the burner itself. I need to know what to check to get this unit working correctly. Help!

Hello Kurt and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliances forum.
Most likely the glowing hot surface ignitor is too weak to provide enough of an ignition source. That being the most likely problem cause, replacing the glow ignitor will resolve the problem.
If that is the case, read the recent questions within this forum on ovens which have ignition problems. They contain replies on the same type of oven problem. Reading those questions and replies will provide the information needed to correct the problem.
A hot glow surface ignitor, working correctly, will glow an intense bright yellow orange in color. Any reddish color or a dull orange color indicates the glow coil is weak.
Retail appliance parts dealers can also help determine what the possible problem may be. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Appliance parts dealers are an excellent source for original replacement parts.
Dealers can perform tests and carry replacement parts for all appliances. Parts dealers are listed in the phone book under appliances.
If you need further assistance use the REPLY button. Doing so moves the topic back up to the top of the daily list automatically.
