I am painting my bathroom and can't get the wallpaper off. Can paint be applied over the wallpaper. What kind is best?

Wall paper will come off, if you stay after it. Painting over wall paper is possible, but usually looks like paint over wall paper. Clean the wall, prime with a sealing primer such as Zinser, and paint.

try takeing a squirt bottle or pump up srayer and soak it with hot water over and over intill it soaks through and softens the addhesive. Ive heard rumer of useing fabric softner but i never tryed it.Hot water always worked for me.Also fill the sink and bath tub with hot water and let the steam help you.You can add a few pans or boiling water also.the hotter and the more steam the better.
