MY DRYER WILL START UP ON HEAT AND RUN WHEN HEAT POINT IS SET IT WILL TURN HEAT OFF BUT WHEN IT CALLS FOR HEAT AGAIN THE HEAT ELEMENT WILL GLOW BUT SOUNDS LIKE COIL IS HAVING TROUBLE OPENING I CAN STOP IT AND WAIT A FEW SEC AND DO THE SAME AGAIN SOUNDS LIKE COIL HAS VIBRATION LIKE NOT SUFFICIENT POWER WOULD LOAD ON MOTOR HAVE ANY THING TO DO WITH THIS THANKS CHUCK

Hello Charles. Welcome to my Gas Appliances forum and our Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
The answer to the load on the motor question is no. If the drum is rotating at it's normal rotational speed, it would not effect the burner nor the gas valve.
The most likely problem is the solenoids. These parts are directly attached to the top of the gas valve. One of them is defective causing the noise, the burner to fail to allow gas to pass to the burner, etc.
Solenoids are electrical current using devices. Solenoids warm up and often drop out when they become defective. Drop out means ground out, lose electrical connection internally and close off the gas supply.
Losing connection or electrical current supplied to a solenoid for any reason, the solenoid demagnetizes. Once it losses current the tiny disk it holds open drops down closing off the gas passage.
A solenoid is nothing more then an electro magnet. Energized, it will be a magnet used to hold open a tiny disk off it's valve seat, allowing the gas to flow thru.
Replacing the solenoids, sold in pairs only, should resolve the problem. Be sure to unplug the dryer first and turn off the gas supply to it before attempting any repairs.
Remove both solenoids off the gas valve body by removing the hold down cover plate and replace them both, if defective.
Or take the entire gas valve unit to your local appliance parts store and have the entire assembly and all the parts tested individually and as an assembly.
Another possibility could be a defective gas valve. Remove entire unit as an assembly. Take the entire assembly to your local appliance parts store for testing. Gas valves are not repairable. Replacement is the only option if defective.
