I have same problem as Aldbra posted on 9/6. Sliding door hard to slide. I understand we have to replace rollers, but how do we get the door out of track? One side of door is stationary. It seems it has to come out first, but how do we do it? Desparate!

Usually one end is bolted in, and the other end has a spring loaded end. It takes a hammer and screwdriver to pry it off. Now this is on most doors. But at least one end will come off. Usually the outside end.

I assume that you are talking about an aluminum framed slider. There are several styles of them in existence. First, try lowering the sliding pane as much as possible, lifting it as high as possible and see if it will swing over the threshold. If it won't, then you will ned to remove the stationary pane so you can swing the sliding pane out over the threshold. Look at the stationary pane carefully to see how it is held in place. You might find "L" clips at the top and bottom (in the center of the frame) that are screwed inthe the header and threshold. You might find "Z" clips on the inside that hold the stationary pane to the jamb (at the opposite end from the latch. Hope this helps.
