Not sure where to post this - will try here and tile. Had a GREAT christmas party the opther night. As part of the ambience there wer candles ALL OVER the house - including a ledge abovew the bath tub. Well - one of thos candles dripped wax all down the tile wall and onto the ceramic tub. Tried scraping off but not too successful - also don't want to scratch the tiles/tub. Can anyone help with a suggestion on how to get this off?
Thanks!!!

Don't try to scrape it off porcelain.
Run the shower on hot water only, and wipe the semi-melted candle wax off with paper towels. Use scalding hot water from a kettle if necessary.
Don't let any wax get into your tub drain.
Good Luck!

How about a plumbers blow tourch to melt the wax----I'm not saying cook the tub and tile just hold it close enough to melt it and use a paper towell or rag to get it up. A cigarette lighter perhaps.
