We have sliding glass doors that lead out to our enclosure. The one door that we open and close all the time sounds like something is stuck underneath and it has become hard to open and close. Any ideas before my husband decides to start taking them apart? What do you think has happened?

It is POSSIBLE that simlpy raising the sliding pane (by adjusting the rollers) will cure the problem, but probably you will need to replace the rollers. Remove the sliding pane, remove one of the rollers, and go to either a home improvemnet center or a glass shop and get IDENTICAL replacements. While the slider is out, look closely at the guide in the center of its track. If that little half-round guide shows any wear, add a snap cap to it. You'll probably have to go to a glass shop to get that. Comes in 8 foot lengths -- simply cut it to fit.
