advice sought: we must replace two pairs of french doors in a 12x6 entry in our 200-yr old colonial post-and-beam home. thinking all-wood pella or eagle. contractor says old house too shifty for precision fit, reluctant to do it. Neighbor says inject polyurethane in a small (maybe 1/2") gap between the 12x6 frame, and the new casing for the two pairs of doors. any advice valued. thx - Michael Singh
