All the rolling closet doors in home are just hanging from the top and have no guides on the bottom. Hence when moving they sway a lot. Also the bottom of the door is about 1.5" from the floor. How do i fix the problem so as to prevent the doors from swaying?
(I am an absolute newbie to home repair stuff and but can handle fixing things)

You can get guides that will attach to the floor and prevent the doors from swaying. Check at any home center (i.e. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.). The one that is 1-1/2" from the floor may be a problem though. The rollers at the top of the door have some adjustment in them. Can you use these to lower the door? If so, lower both sides, and the final adjustment will be so the door is plumb with the jamb it stops against.
