I am looking for feedback on quality/price of replacement windows. I am leaning toward getting Alside windows or just going with the ones they sell at the HD. I'm not sure if welded sashes are worth the extra money. Any advice or insight is appreciated. I will be ordering the windows tomorrow.

I haven't used the Alside, but I have used American Craftsman from HD and am not impressed.

Get a window that has the constant force balancer instead of spiral balaners ( Like AmCrapsman).

Get LowE glass.

Welded sash or frame is NOT worth the money, and I CAN make a good arguement for it being worth less actually.
