How do you remove deadbolt locks that don't have screws on their faces? Do you have to pry them off with brute force or is there a latch or something?

You should be able to pop the inside cap off with a knife or thin blade flat screwdriver. Then you can access the screws. Good Luck!

Just run across some old Schlague deadbolts that did not have any screws showing. They had two small holes on the inside lock next to the cylinder. An allen wrench inserted inside the holes loosened one of the screws. The other was frozen and I had to drill the screw out. Drill it out and the lock should come apart. Hope this helps.
