I'd like your advice on putting in a hardwood floor in a three season room. It's a second home that only gets used occassionally (couple weekends per month). When not in use the room could go to 80+ degrees in summer and down to below freezing in the winter. Pretty high humidy in summer as well. It would go over subfloor, not concrete. What are my options? 3/4" nailed, floating laminate/engineered, other? I'd prefer 3/4", but not sure it can take the temperature/humidity swings. Thanks for your advice.

If you really wanted to you could use douglas fir but i would not garantee an istall in that type of situation there are to many facters for it to go wrong but i have seen people do it.
