Hi.

I have a curved area above my front door where the ceiling meets the wall. There is this ugly mosaic tile there now.

I'd like to put molding along the edge of the wall/ceiling and mitre to molding on either side of the door.

I know that they make flexible plastic molding...but I can't find it at local places (Home Depot/Lowe's)..and will need only a very small quantity...questionable to order due to minimum quantities. Any ideas about how else to make wooden molding fit/where to buy curved molding? The molding will be fairly thick (2.5 inches) and will be painted.

Any advice would be apreciated!

You could make your own out of MDF. Cut the radius to what you need and build up layers to get the thickness out from the wall you want. Might even add some thin beading that is attractive just to dress it up, if you so desire.
