I botched the painting of my living room walls and would appreciate any tips on how to remedy the situation. I painted the first coat and discovered that it was too bright red, so I bought a darker red and painted over the first coat. Even though the darker red has covered the first coat, the paint is not "even", i.e. there are blotches all over the wall... How do I get rid of these blotches?augustus.yeo@db.com

it appears you just need another coat or two
if it is really dark you may need more
good luck
