Hello.
I'm trying a new craft - painting christmas bulbs with acrylic paint to become ornaments. They are pretty cute.
My question: The acrylic paint, even when dry, just rubs or scratches off the the bulbs. Does someone know if there is a clear glaze or something to paint over to protect what I've painted? I want to make sure it won't mix with my designs to smear everything.
Any ideas??

My wife just finished making some Snowman using old lightbulbs. She dabbed the acrylic paint on as opposed to regular brushing. No paint scratching yet. You might try an aerosol spray sealers. Check Michaels or JoAnns. Good luck.
