I've been reading some of the threads on this forum and noticed a few folks voicing opinions against the use of sash replacement kits. I was considering using these to replace the single paned double-hung windows in my older house that are in good shape otherwise. What are some of the reasons that some of you have against these kits? If any of you actually think that these are a viable option, any suggestions as to companies that make the best product? Thanks.
