Hi,
I'm building an outdoor shed, 10 x 12'. It will have electricity a insulated, I plan to spend time in it and I want it to look nice and last. I have the foundation (4x4 posts in concrete) and floor frame installed (joists & double headed). Next weekend comes the floor.
A friend who is a good builder & pretty finicky suggested I use a tongue & groove subfloor for my floor, complete with glue. I'm a bit familiar w/ T&G for the actual floor & some are floaters, some nailed down, some glue. Since I am nailing the floor to the joists & frame, is it necessary to use glue? Also is T&G a bit overkill?
Thanks!
Bob

Bob,
An outdoor shed 10 x 12 - sounds like mine.
3/4 inch plywood is all you need. Forget the glue, screw it down, and it won't squeek.

Bob,
You might put some 6mil plastic under pressure treated floor joists on the ground and use 3/4" pressure treated plywood to help with the problem of ground moisture.
