We have put 3 coats of kilz in our kitchen ceiling and the stains keep bleeding through. Any Ideas? My wife is about to strangle me if I suggest any more coats.

The source of the stains must be corrected first. If this is mildew, you must first kill it with a mixture of 25% bleach in water. You did not say what the stains were, but the alkyd Kilz should cover almost anything.
