After removing a wall to expand room, I need to add crown molding. Only problem is the wall stops halfway through the room, so how do I end/finish the molding at the top?

You'll need to cut a 45 degree angle at the end and place a very small piece at the end with the same angle going into the wall. It's going to be a very small piece, so be careful cutting it.

I hope that made sense.

Glue the small piece to the longer one. Nails will likely break it.
