We just converted our house from LP to natural gas. I changed the dryer parts over but in using it now I hear a fluttering sound in the flame. It dosen't get really hot. I'm wondering if there is an adjustment I have to make in the burner. The parts that were changed were a burner and a brass screw. It's an under the counter Frigidare model.

Hello: lyze

Glad to know you corrected the problem. Also happy you took some of your time to post the correction. In doing so, everyone whom reads this topic learns something.

Changing out the orifice is a must do. If not, the problem you described would happen. An LP orifice is not rated the same as a natural gas orifice. Rated meaning the hole diameter.

An LP orifice hole is much smaller. Burning natural gas with an LP orifice will produce a much smaller flame. Which accounts for the lack of heat.
