i do everything right and get them to 2" then they just die,they are started in small greenhouses under full spectrum lights,what am i doing wrong.

Since the Federal Gov starts Pine tree seedlings, so easy & even gives them away free bare root.
Why are you having problems? What is the PH of your soil? How long are the lights on their timer for? What is the lumen rating 2" from the lights?
Lumen meter $7.50 Ph meter $10.00 Pine trees don't like netural PH soil mixes like reg potting soils are when you buy them. Where are the greenhouses at, & how hot do they get?
PS: What kind of pine trees are we talking about?
