The model number for this TV is vs-461RS. I checked it out the best i could and i have found out that fuse F-901 near the front of the TV keeps blowing when i turn the set on. The sound keeps working after the fuse blows.There is a part in the back that archs when i install a new fuse and turn it on. The part resembles a coil on a car and has a large wire that comes off of it and goes to another block. There appears to be some kind of black smut on the same board i assume it coming from when that part is arching.I wold appreciate any info or help anybody can give me, besides buying a new TV, kinda broke right now n thanks, dsolo:confused:

Sounds like the horizontal output transformer is bad. Should be a part number on the side of the transformer.
