I have somebody that will replace the components that are causing the problem ,but I have to separate the board.I have everything disconnected but how do you disconnect the large red wire running from the (I think it is the flyback transformer that runs to a large suction cup on the inside of the screen). Is there a proper procedure to removing this? The components to be replaced are Q601&Q602(both 2SC4834),Q502(2SC4927),Q591(H.O.T. 2SC4927),resisterR607(type micron .1ohm,1/2watt)

Your are referring to the high voltage anode wire that goes to the tube. Use an alligator clip on a wire that is connected to chassis ground and the other end connected on the screwdriver (straight edge not philipps). Slid it under the anode cap to disharge any voltage and then push in on a metal clip and this will pop right off. To reconnect simply push on by clipping the pins back on the tube. Hope this helps.
