I have a Samsung model TXC-2726 and the color is fine on most of the screen. The color is green and purple on the four corners of the picture tube, worst on top.. I have a handheld degauser and used that but I am unable to purify the tube..Could it be the degause circuit..?

Tech Tip as follows:


1)Discolored picture looks like blotches./Cold solder joints on degaussing thermistor #R801.

I found the first message and your reply on Google.
I have a Samsung TXC 2726 with almost no color except for some green on the center area and big blotches like halos of color elsewhere.
I thought maybe there was a part that needs replacing.

Your reply made no sense since I know nothing about TV repair, so if anyone can offer any advice, keep it "dummy" simple.
