Hello all,

I am in the process of trying to find this new subfloor system is not plywood which is specifically designed to go over concrete for the installation of 3/4" hardwood. Please help. Not the "sleepers" or plywood but the ????? system subfloor. It comes in 4X8 sheets and nails by hand.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!

I've nailed 100's of sheets of 3/4" plywood and OSB over 6 mil plastic to concrete and installed 3/4" thick solid wood floors to it with 1.5" flooring nails and staples. So far I have had no problems. You can shoot it down with powder activated guns, air activated guns and pound concrete nails into it with a big hammer. They may make something slightly better but I doubt if it is cheaper. National Oak Floor manufacturers Association approves 3/4" plywood and OSB for this use and that is good enough for me. That might be the reason why it is so hard to find out about this other subflooring.

I've been hearing all sorts of things about it...originated in Europe. I was supposed to get a sneak preview from a source a month ago and give it a trial..haven't heard anything since.
