On my Magnavox CCU-191 AT01 the video won't eject. It started to eject, I think, but something happened and it got stuck. It shut the tv off, and now when I try to turn the tv on, it makes a whirring sound from the video , a TV picture starts back on, the screen says 'no cassette' but after 5 seconds the tv shuts itself off. I can't afford a shop visit. Is it hopeless?? I'd like to at least have the TV part work, if not the video. Please help!

You will need to dismantle the set to gain access to the VCR. You are wanting to remove the tape of course, hard to say what chassis will be in there but once the deck is out if you have a digital camera you could shoot a picture of the unit and I’m sure I could advise you how to get the tape out. Most likely the deck needs all new belts and tires, pinch roller, cleaning etc.
