While trying to install an additional speaker into our television, something went wrong....now the color of the tv is like a rainbow....anything we can do to fix it???

magnet in speaker caused trouble set needs degaussed and tv has one built into it but it is small and only operates the first few seconds that the tv is turned on cold this means turn set off and let it cool for several hours each time before turning back on
