I need to store a 36" Sony TV and a washing mashine in unheated storeage. What do I need to do if anything to put these items in storeage for the winter in the midwest.

I have put a small amount of antifreeze in the washer and started the spin/drain cycle just for a few seconds.
As for the TV I'd keep it covered and off the floor and not power it up again until it has sat at room temperature for a day. Also depending on age of TV and length of storage some electrolytic capacitors may dry out, causing a dead set or other problems.
