Abou t 4 years ago I painted the bathroom ceiling using a mixture of drywall mud and water, then rolled it on with a textured roller. Recently, small patches have started to bubble and get loose. I have to redo it, but need to know if I have to remove the old completely, if so, how? Or, just scrape off whats loose and redo it. I would guess It needs a better primer than what I used before, or maybe I need to mix the mud with paint or ????? ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
