I wanted to see what everyone thinks I should do about a Sanyo TV that is missing the RED color out of the TV. If someone could tell me if it's worth fixing, if it is how much, or if I can fix it myself.

If the red color gun is shorted you will have to decide if you want ot replace the picture tube. If its a cracked solder joint(s) ont crt board then its just a resolder job. Whats the model number and date of manufacture on this television?

The model # is AVM-2506 and the manufacture date on it is July 1996.
